Screening curated selections of films during our festivals and events has always been part of our Playgrounds DNA. During our almost 20 years of organising events celebrating digital arts our audiences have always loved intimate film screenings connected to one of our festival speakers. Last year we took our film adventure further than before, and brought The Art Department Film Fest to a new location: the iconic former Philips Natlab!

Local and international audiences welcomed us with open arms, encouraging us to embark on a new adventure: a standalone film festival. So this year you are cordially invited to the very first edition of the Playgrounds International Film Festival.
