Pure Hubs and Incubate present: Johannes Heil – The Main. A film by Michelle van Mil / Suzanne van Dongen (VeeMee Visuals).
This video is based on the work of Michelle van Mil and Suzanne van Dongen, two young Dutch video artists, that was used in an extensive video projection during Incubate festival 2012.
They shot footage of the green pastures surrounding Kent (UK), Tilburg (NL), Antwerp (B) and Frankfurt (D).
These images were used in a video work of four parts. Each part focuses on a specific place where each of the cities meets and clashes with the surrounding countryside.
This was projected on multiple big screens in the Main Hall of the 013 venue during the performances of four leading producers from the Frankfurt techno scene during Incubate festival 2012: Johannes Heil, Heiko Laux, Anthony Ruther and the seldom performing Pete Namlook.
