When ’The Final Thunderdome’ was announced in 2012, we were asked to do a pitch for the promotional artwork and some of the merchandising. So the project started somewhere in 2012 as a pitch, got rejected and than lost in the “have to finish this someday”-pile. Recent collaborations with Voutloos and Psytek brought up the project and we decided to finish it as a nice portfolio piece and extra example on how we tag-team these sort of projects.

Established in 1992, Thunderdome is probably the world’s most infamous hardcore-gabber event, including it’s well-known icon, the ‘wizard’. Appealing to millions of fans world wide throughout the past 20 years it has been an iconic brand within the electronic dance scene.
